a well designed new build,lots of parking space and brewers fayre ,good service in the restraurant ,food served promptly at evening meal which was well heated and prepared(our kids love p.inn's choc indulgance as well)breakfast food was plentyful and freshly cooked (no dried out bits)our quad room was clean and tidy looking out on the snowy glenshane /mountain(reminded me a bit like an alpine scene)rooms no traffic noise beds were so soft and cosy we couldn't get up,lots of people seemed to be.
alla recensioner » The hotel was really lovely, spotlessly clean everywhere. Staff were so friendly from the outset. Breakfast was brilliant and you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. The lunch / dinners were excellent value for money & very tasty. We stayed for 2 weekend nites during the All Ireland Fleadh. We got taxi's to drop us at the Peace Bridge ( as recommended by the receptionist ), which is just a really short & scenic walk over to the city center, and cost just £3 approx. The taxi dr. Service (housekeeping did a load of laundry for me last minute). I liked the money back guarantee if you don't get a good night rest, you get a full refund. I didn't need to use this feature. The restaurant Brewers Fayre was fantastic. The full Irish Breakfast was fantastic. I was early in Sunday and since the breakfast buffet isn't put out until people start to arrive, staff made me a plate. Very pleased with my stay. I would stay there again. The hotel was new and very well laid out. Catered for food and drink, nice bar restraunts. The best and most impressive thing about this hotel is the staff. Every staff member was professional and extremely friendly and courteous. I have travelled a lot and these people are a first class team. There was approximately 60 people staying in our overall group, I had booked for 7, we felt we were welcome and felt like visiting a home away from home!!!. Everything from start to finish. Fidelma on reception was really lovely and very helpful. She couldn't have done more for us. The room was spotless and the a/c was fantastic as our stay was during the heatwave. Food in the adjoining Brewers Fayre was very good and great value especially if you are travelling with children. I highly recommend Premier Inn Derry. We brought a group of about 40 parents and children to support Feile 2013, a gaelic competition. There was huge organising on the whole weekend and the Premier Inn made the accommodation side of it as easy as it could have been. The rooms are lovely, the price is good and the staff were outstanding. I stayed because it was close to Hospital where a family member was admitted. Excellent hotel with regard to food, warmth and cleanliness. Staff were friendly and attentive - and should be commended for their work ethic, but also because of their kindness to me when I was worried about my husband. Looks relatively new. On the edge of the city, so quiet at night, with nice views out the back over the countryside during the day. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Large buffet breakfast. If you've stayed at one of these chain roadside hotels before, you know what to expect. The room was spaceious and clean, and the bed very comfortable. Their staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to friends and an easy drive to town. The on-site resturaunt's breakfast was a good value with good food. I'll stay there again. the Premier Inn was excellant, rooms was a good size and was spotless, the bathroom was also spotless and we had fresh towels each day. A very well run hotel,a pleasure to stay at. our room wasn't ready when we checked in 2.30p.m.when we did get our room the t.v. didn't work.fidelma and adam were so helpful and friendly, our room was instantly changed with complementry breakfast on the house. We were on the 1st floor and there was some noise overhead from the floor above in the morning time, footsteps running, but it was probably just kids. A very minor issue but certainly not something that would stop me going back. If I had to pick something, it would be the location, in relation to my meetings in the city centre. After the first night, locating it was easy. The location isn't bad, it just wasn't convenient for me. This was my first visit to Derry in a long time, it wasn't long enough time that's all!. There is absolutely nothing I did not like. Caution SatNav users: we used the postcode to get us there, but it took us to the nearby retail park, which was crowded with vehicles, and it took us ages to get back out of it. A better option would be to type in "Kilfennan roundabout" as your street destination. The hotel is just off this roundabout. The cleaning staff would forget little things, but it was easy to correct and made little difference. we booked a table at the Brewers fayre restaurant for 6.30pm, when we ordered our meal we were told there was a 25 minute delay, which was Ok, but after 55 minutes we still hadnt our food, so we had to complain, the staff was very apologetic and we did get a free drink, but by the time we actually got our food we had to eat very quickly as we had arranged to meet friends it was the only black spot of our stay. The slight fault I would have is that the bedroom windows didn't open but the air/con was very good. Also it would be great if Premier Inn could give complimentary free WiFi. Could not find any faults. we could not open our window in the room, but there was air conditioning... but would have prefered fresh air. nothing ;-). There wasn't anything not to dislike. No dislikes. Wanted to stay 2 nights but could only get 1 night.also we had stated only 2 people were staying. We had to take a quadruple room so meant we had to almost fall over the put me up bed which was between the 2 fixed beds. Might of been good to have offered to remove that additional bed. Room a little small for four. that the breakfast had no local produce no potato bread no soda bread no pancakes or black pudding ..such a shame as the breakfast buffet was good apart from lack of any thing related to northern irish breakfast staples !!!!. N/a. I was very happy overall. Dinner a little over-priced, otherwise no complaints. It is a ways from the sights of Derry but that is the sacrifice for being a new hotel. I could only stay one night. 30 minutes wi-fi a little bit short. Breakfast food would be excellent if it were warmer. All cooked food was only lukewarm - needs to be hotter and sausages did not look cooked - even though they were. just brown on one side!. Nothing. to far out of town had to taxi in and out. There was a bus load of travellers at the restaurant for both dinner & breakfast several of whom were using bad language. Lucky my 7 year old couldn't understand their Scottish accents and had no idea what they were saying!. The location is not good and there is no sign posting for the hotel. Was like sleeping in an oven. My two children could not sleep any of the nights we stayed due to the temperature. Window could not be open and the air conditioning was really poor and did nothing even on lowest temperature and highest fan setting. The weather was cold and raining outside but inside we were cooking alive. Leaving!. cant fault anything. Sealed windows which could not be opened. air conditioning.
