My group also stayed at Dromoland Castle and we all agreed that our stay at Ballygarry House was more enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable.The price was reasonable. The staff from check in to check out were most gracious and professional. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Probably the best hotel stay I've ever enjoyed. The breakfast is definitely the best breakfast I've had anywhere in the UK or Ireland - simply amazing. The hotel was relaxed and the opportunity to chill out in the lounge with afternoon tea provided was very nice. I noticed some other guests - particularly children seemed to really enjoy it. There was ample seating and it was bright and airy - good for reading or chatting!!
The location was good too on the way to Muckross but near enough to town to walk.
There was a lot of menus of local eateries available in the lobby too which would have been very useful had they been pointed out to us...we

We loved everything about the Muckross Park! We spent two nights for our wedding anniversary and felt thoroughly looked after and spoiled. Right from the minute we arrived and were met by Ted the concierge, who was knowledgeable and friendly to the reception and bar staff. The lady who owns the B&B is lovely, a very welcoming person and supper friendly.
She was very helpful, gave the best information about where to go, what to do, best way to go, etc.
The view from the house is amazing and only 10 mins walking from Ventry beach.
I really enjoyed to have my breakfast outside on the deck, that view made day!
It's a quiet place to stay, relaxing, the bed is comfortable, choose the view to the sea!
We loved staying in this B&B and definitely will go back next
