  Stayed in this B&B in August during the Puck Fair festival. The B&B is in a great location, in the middle of the Village but not noisy and not far from beach. Plenty of room for car parking also. Maureen, the owner, could not have been more helpful and friendly, we would have loved to have stayed a second night but unfortunately she was... vad folk säger » booked out but she helped us find alternative accommodation for which we were very grateful!! The room was clean with comfortable beds and plenty of - Friendly owner. One recommendation from other guests that she passed on to us is that for an evening meal the Rumours Bistro across the road is good. And we found that to be the case -good food and well presented; the Early Bird menu of starter, main course, and tea or coffee was Euro 15.95. Our room had a sea view in the distance so that, with camera on zoom, we could take sea/sunset photos straight from the window.

  The owners were very friendly and obliging to give me an early breakfast of exactly what I had requested. Also they gave me a reduced rate on my room as I was only a single person. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B - The 250 year old house is a 'home away from home'.   Loved our hostess; very outgoing and full of information, which she shares readily. The house is lovely, just difficult to find; probably partly our fault, as we don't usually stay in busy cities; we found Killarney poorly signposted and thus, the B&B hard to find. More than comfy, though, and certainly in easy walking distance of downtown res... vad folk säger » taurants, shops, etc. - Very friendly welcome and attentive service; keen to offer advice on local facilities. Room was clean, nicely fitted and very spacious. Breakfast was very good. Parking was available. Residential location & taxi/car needed to get into central Killarney. Very well priced.
