  The Lodges were excellent, very well kitted to a high spec. Loved the touch of the fire log left for guests plus the tea/coffee/milk - very welcoming. - New and excellent place to stay.   Probably the best hotel stay I've ever enjoyed. The breakfast is definitely the best breakfast I've had anywhere in the UK or Ireland - simply amazing. The spa is great, with a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, lap pool and cold water soak, all kept fastidiously clean. The room was very nice, and the view was spectacular.   We loved everything about the Muckross Park! We spent two nights for our wedding anniversary and felt thoroughly looked after and spoiled. Right from the minute we arrived and were met by Ted the concierge, who was knowledgeable and friendly to the reception and bar staff. It's away from all the busyness of Killarney and directly across the street from the National Park and an easy path to Muckross Abbey and Muckross House.   Enjoyed every minute...upgraded to the luxury suite and certainly worth it...waking up with a view of the Mcgillicuddy Reeks, wow! Any complaints about the lack of tea/coffee facilites are wasted, head downstairs and use the excellent facilities - Excellent, professional, courteous and friendly staff, who treated us like family.   I've never experienced such excellent customer service. From the moment we arrived to checking out the staff at this hotel were very friendly, helpful and very efficient. The welcome from the reception staff was lovely. Waking up to this background is an amazing experience. I am from Ireland and expect staff to be pleasant which they were at the skellig but I even thought they exceeded my expectations. Especially a lady on the cleaning staff that was very friendly when id pass her in the hall way. and a lady from Armagh which made an extra effort been friendly with us. Superb - We had a great stay! Our room was very nice and spacious. It was a bit old fashioned which wasn't a problem at all. The bathroom was clean and more modern. The breakfast next morning was brilliant. Continental breakfast and Full Irish, which we both loved. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk! We would definitely come back!
