  The apartment was in a geat location, very central for shopping, restaurants and the quay. Also nearby was the tourist information centre where we booked all but one of our excursions. The apartment was warm, cosy, spotlessly clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed, including a corkscrew. The house itself is a wonderful old building with bags characther located in a very narrow, almost hidden away street. Furthermore, as an added bonus, the hosts seem to know everyone and everything of interest in Reykjavik and Iceland, be it about the newest fad in the restaurant/nightlife scene or about what
