  We felt that we included with the family, not simply anonymous guests passing through. We got to meet young Maria, and one of the owner's three sons even played for us on his accordion! My daughter, two teenaged grandsons, and I felt welcome and quite at home during out stay. Johannes gave us our choice of family rooms and arranged for the wonderful Bob's Tours (ask for Peter to be your guide);Lalith and Alberto were always friendly and helpful.   This was an amazing find. Literally in the heart of old Salzburg; close to the water, Mozart's birthplace and the French Church with a beautiful panorama of the city. We suspect because it's only newly open (rebuilt in 2010-12) people don't know about it yet but it is without fault. We made good use of the kitchen area for cups of tea, breakfasting, and also chocolate from the vending machine. The computer was useful for checking weather and emailing home, but wifi would be good to have if possible.

  Everything is excellent. We did like the swimming pool with pure blue water on the hotel's backjard. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet as well as very beautifully decorated in an old style. The hotel is a family run business who are very friendly and speak the English language. The breakfast is friendly and musically surrounded. The bus stop is in 6 minutes walk from the hotel. - Clean room, friendly atmosphere. Located just outside Salzburg but an easy tram ride into the city. Leave the car at the hotel and use the tram. If you are visiting attractions buy a Salzburg card at the hotel. Well worth the money. We will be back.

  The owners are very friendly. They did their best to help us when we got some troubles with the car. The location is pretty good if you travel by car. - Staff friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble! :)

  The hotel is about 10 min by foot from the main train station and the way is simple. Additionally, after reservation you receive from the hotel an instruction how to get to the hotel. We chose a room with a bathroom. Our room was very clean, comfortable, big enough for 2 people. It was on the second floor. The old town i - The pension was perfectly clean, and approximately 20 meters from it is a bus stop. The busses run about every 20 mins, but it varies. The reception staff is very helpful. Do buy tickets beforehand, to save unnecessary expensive on the bus purchased, tickets. But remember, on Sundays, most shops are closed in Salzburg. The main train station is definitely walking distance. Currently there is construction going on, so to handle luggage down and up stairs can be a challenge.

  The hotel was perfectly located walking distance from the city centre. The room had a nice view on a square.   The pension is in a very nice quiet out of town location, with a convenient bus stop for the short bus ride to the city. It was pretty much as expected from other reviews, I.E. clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed, including a nice breakfast. We used the free on site parking and took the bus both days of our stay. The lady who owns the Pension was very hospitable - The place is so nice. Surounded by mointains and you can hear the river running while you sleep. Me room was beautiful. The girl in charge was really nice. The breakfast you wouldn't belive... 17 kind of cereals, diferent cheeses, fruits, real coffee and more! The bus to the city runs often and it takes 10 min to get to there. You can hike near by and they lend you sticks and umbrellas.
