the kindness shown to my Mother of 93 and myself was excellent.The cleanleness of this hotel was the best I have ever had maybe cleaner than my own home.I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a small hotel. - The breakfasts were excellent! The owners were very helpful and attended to our request for non feather pillows promptly.

Second visit and still spotlessly clean, warm, quiet & welcoming, we had the family room this time which is very homely environment with a large fresh bathroom (no fan as it has a window which makes it even more peaceful, which is a good thing during the night!). Looking forward to the next time as this is by a long way the best we have stayed

The owners were very helpful, friendly and chatty without being over the top. The choice for breakfast was outstanding with a constant 'would you like anything else'. Our room was lovely, stylish, spacious and quite. And there is plenty of on street parking! Would highly recommend.

The guesthous east is a very nice gesthouse in Eastbourne with only six rooms / appartments. The owners, Sarah and Carl made us a warm welcome and gave us a plenty of good informations for our days in and around eastbourne. Thanks a lot for that.
Good is also, that you have the possibility to use the kitchen included in the appartments e.g. for the breakfast (we used it because we did not want to throw away the frige content at home)...

Only stayed 1night but found the owner very friendly,the hotel was in a great position facing the sea,clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, all in all a very nice hotel. - Everything was thought of. Cannot fault this hotel and the owner was lovely and really helpful.

Just the feel of the place, it so welcoming, the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, the guesthouse is steep in history,and Jose the manager was so knowledgeable, what we liked was that the staff were discreet and friendly. The room was very clean which makes all the difference, the bed was comfy and the linen was crisp and fresh,so important. It was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Our room had a side sea view and was light and airy. The Marina is located in Eastbourne just east of Blighton on the seaside, is similar to Brighton but not as badly affected by tourism. It has similar features to Brighton but is much ore affordable for similar accommodation. The Manager was very helpful.
