We were all (including our 4 year old) made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The room was lovely and very clean. This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we would definitely like to return. - Exceptionally friendly and helpful owners, comfortable rooms, excellent food. Very good value.

Richard the proprietor was very friendly made us fill very welcome.
Our room was on the first floor it was clean and comfortable ideal for a few days stay. Full English breakfast was amazing we didn't have to eat all day. We were over looking the sea set back from the main road so noise was minimal . -

Just the feel of the place, it so welcoming, the staff are exceptionally polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, the guesthouse is steep in history,and Jose the manager was so knowledgeable, what we liked was that the staff were discreet and friendly. The room was very clean which makes all the difference, the bed was comfy and the linen was crisp and fresh,so important. All I can say is that if you want to be treated like the only one at the hotel, The Grand is the place to go. The staff are excellent in all respects. Beds/pillows wonderful.
