  Exceptional staff and service. Very well trained and knowledgeable. Butler service was perfect. The view from our room was great as well. We could see the Taj Lake Palace, the City Palace and the Jag Mandir straight ahead. The location is superb, the ambience so romantic, the service is top-notch, the food is great (the chef sent us complimentary dishes that were just delicious!), the views from our room (upgraded to a lake view) were incredible... Without informing the hotel of our arrival at the Jaislamer train station in the wee hours, we were pleasantly surprised to find hotel staff waiting to pick us up from the train station.
