I love the uniqueness of the hotel - it didn't feel like a cookie-cutter or formulaic version of a luxury hotel, like so many hotels that belong to chains. It is a hotel with great character and charm. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly also. -

All the staff without exception were extrimely attentive and polite. All questions were answered and all requests met. Despite not so oppulent external appearance, the entire hotel's interior was magical, enstilling harmony and peace. Very comfortable rooms and a good choice of restaurants. The hotel is opulent and classy. The staff is the best we have ever
encountered, and consistently excellent. The dining is delightful and
even room service is great. The spa treatments are amazing! Went in for
a pedicure. An hour and 1/2 later I left after getting a Epicure, a
leg rub and while my polish was drying , the young man massaged my neck

The staff was absolutely top of the line, doorman, drivers, courtesy desk, reception. Everybody was exceptional and made us feel exceptional.
