  Having stayed at the hotel before the refurb and enjoyed it the new look is excellent. Comfy and modern we very much enjoyed our stay, leisure facillities better then most gyms, excellent food in both the pub area and more formal resturant. Only 5mins walk from the town centre, enjoyed a morning of shopping and coffee!.   The service from arrival to departure was outstanding, staff were very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble - we were made to feel really special. The room was spotless, the super king size bed was blissfully comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location and easy to find.   The staff were the most friendly and helpful staff in any hotel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in hotels all over the world. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely decorated.
