What an amazing place Ian & his partner have created!!! Stayed in the merlin suite, totally magical. Next time we book we will stay in the Camelot suite & bring are two teenage boys. The welcome on arrival and also the ability to email the owner beforehand to check certain details and arrange to have breakfast early which was well cooked to our specification. The whole house was beautifully clean and fresh. We also had access to a guest lounge which proved useful. Very relaxing. We would not hesitate o book again.

Everything about our stay was wonderful - this hotel definitely has the 'wow' factor. From the moment we arrived until when we checked out the staff were helpful and attentive. The public areas are beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable. We dined in the hotel restaurant and found the food to be superb and reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was also excellent. The location is also excellent being 15 mins from Chester. We are already planning our next stay!
