It's a quiet, friendly and welcoming place to stay. Such love and care have gone into making everyone's stay a great one. The room was peaceful, well appointed and immaculately clean. The breakfast was excellent! Definitely the best place I have stayed in Chester, so look NO further than Lavender Lodge!!

The welcome on arrival and also the ability to email the owner beforehand to check certain details and arrange to have breakfast early which was well cooked to our specification. The whole house was beautifully clean and fresh. We also had access to a guest lounge which proved useful. Very relaxing. We would not hesitate o book again.

I have just spent a couple of weeks travelling around the UK in a number of different guest houses and found the Ba Ba to offer a much higher standard of accommodation than the letsbookhotel.com rating would indicate. This was one of the nicest establishments we have stayed at for the price range we targetted.

The staff at the Ba Ba made us feel very welcome, the bedroom was immaculate, clean and the refreshments were plentiful and most welcome at the end of a busy day. I would definitely recommend the Ba Ba as a place to stay and really close to the historic attractions of Chester. We also had excellent evening meals locally on the recommendation of the staff at the Ba Ba.

The breakfast was amazing and the hosts are friendly and helpful - I accidentally interrupted their dinner (was a late check in) and they still helped me get oriented towards where to find dinner for myself, with no rush or making feel uncomfortable. Common Barn Farm was a real home away from home!! It was in a lovely peaceful (and beautiful) location and Rona couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and meet our needs. It is also well located for access to the Peak District - 5/5.

We stayed at the Chester Apartment for our sons graduation at the cathedral. What wonderful accomodation, very comfortable and excellent central location. Very close to the Mill Hotel, where we had a beautiful meal on the Canaletto barge restaurant, located at the hotel. Will be looking to book again in the near future.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were very very comfortable and warm(especially in the spring weather we have at the moment!) the beds were comfy, the bathroom spacious, the room has everytthing you have in your own bedroom.....very much home from home feeling.
The staff were more than helpfull, even at 9pm they helped me!

The room is not large, but the smart use of the space makes it quite
comfotable. I have been to larger rooms that look much smaller than the
one I got. The family that runs the place is very friendly and helpful.
Everything is clean, good large windows and much light, all items modern
and in perfect maintenance. The breakfast is ok. The good value for the
money is the most important point. I would stay there again.

We found this a very friendly hotel to stay in. All the staff we met were excellent and made our stay very comfortable. One very small issue regarding the heating in the bedroom was solved immediately & with no fuss. The room was clean, large & well fitted.
