Having stayed at the hotel before the refurb and enjoyed it the new look is excellent. Comfy and modern we very much enjoyed our stay, leisure facillities better then most gyms, excellent food in both the pub area and more formal resturant. When we made the reservation we asked for a quiet room with a good view and to be away from the bar area if possible. We got just that, our room was on the other side of the hotel well away from the kitchen and bar area so it was very quiet, and we had superb views. There were also plenty of car park spaces so you didnt need to worry about where to

In area with work, second time have stayed here now, perfectly located both for Irlam and Warrington.
Reception staff are welcoming and efficient. This time, even a small mix up with double booking sorted out perfectly.
The suite that I was in was a great size, comfortable and well stocked with enough for a short trip.

Rooms were lovely, spacious and really comfortable and had hot drink
making facilities. We were there for a wedding and the setting is
beautiful. Even in this horrible cold, snowy weather the gardens
were really well kept. After the bar closed we were allowed to sit
in the lounge area and talk so bar staff also great! I'd love to

On check in I thought it was a nice gesture to be upgraded free of charge into the new room which was really spacious and modern. The accommodation was spacious ,very comfortable bed and bathroom new. Wonderful shower .Staff exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Breakfast excellent plenty of choice. The location is very good, near the boat museum which is well worth a visit and also the boat trip excursion. The staff were very helpful and the hotel had a nice relaxing feeling about it. The three course evening meal deal was good value for money. There is also the use of a gym and sauna.

My husband and I do not have any complaints about this hotel. Staff are very friendly/helpful, cleanliness is excellent, peaceful atmosphere and the breakfast was first class. We would certainly stay at the Holiday Inn in the future and recommend it to anyone. -
