the staff were above average. the service was excellent. the food was perfect. everybody was friendly. - Bridgett was fantastic and so welcoming, even though we were the only guests it was still such a fantastic hotel! And a great location, a nice walk to a kirk and then Helensburgh.

We stayed here for one night taking 2 rooms and enjoyed our stay here.
We had 2 rooms, one of which was a good size, had an excellent tv and
had good views of the loch. The other room was slightly disappointing as
there were no bedside tables and the room was next to the road which
meant it was noisy. I would therefore say that not all of the room

The staff were extremely welcoming. the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The ensuite was imaculate and the shower powerful. The view from room 7 was simply breathtaking. There was a smart TV in the room too, which was an added bonus, with a very wide choice of channels and perfect picture. The breakfast was the best we had in Scotland.

Everything. Bill the owner was extremely friendly and gave us a great welcome. The room, despite being on the small size was excellently appointed and the decor and furnishings were superb. The Scottish breakfasts prepared by Bill were very tasty and a good size.

Jenifer and Alistair were so friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were fabulous - decorated and frunished to a very high standard. The lounge was fantastic - big squashy sofas, open fire, access to laptop/internet. Beautiful views and lovely gardens. I was amazed to get this standard of accomodation at this price -

although may be a little hard to find without a sat nav. The hotel and
staff are lovely and the food was outstanding, if a little pricey for
the breakfast anyway. I would recommend the place to anyone looking for
a weekend getaway and it would be an idyllic setting for weddings etc.

welcoming and gracious owners had just returned from picking up another

Karen And Sean make you very welcome and nothing is too much in helping you enjoy you enjoy stay.Accommodation is excellent and great attention to detail has been made in providing great comfort in the bed, bath linen and room standards. The breakfast offer is amazing with 15 options, all of which are well thought through and mouth watering. A fantastic bed and breakfast and worthy of its 5 star rating and award winning food award.

Nothing is too much trouble,their hotel is maintained to a very high standard and the food is at least equal to any 4* hotel.
