Exceptionally quiet location with la Loire at the bottom of the lovely large garden. Would be great to stay with dogs (which are accepted). Only a few minutes drive from Orleans centre. Staff very helpful and good breakfast. No restaurant Sunday evening but help from staff on where to eat locally, or trip into Centre.

We had a young child with us and the staff provided a brand new cot thatwe put up in the room. We liked the location and friendliness so muchthat we booked again for our return trip. - Far from gorgeous but well facilitated for family with small children. Friendly staffs. Casual restaurant. Fantastic location, a stone,s throw from the cathedral and the old town of Chartres. Very helpful map sent beforehand by the hotel with info for where to park to drop off luggage. Free car park pass from the hotel for the underground car park which was a five minute walk away. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Do not miss the light show at the cat

The location right next to the Cathedral is wonderful and this puts you in the best place for exploring Chartres.
The breakfast was fabulous.
The manageress/owner was lovely and really helpful.
The parking (included in the room rate) in a nearby public car park is easily arranged with the hotel.
The room Les Anges was beautiful - very romantic, with views to the front and rear of the hotel, a screened-off sitting area and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath.
We will definitely return.

Proximity to the cathedral was great. My husband and I could walk to it in less than 10 minutes. Although the breakfast was not included, it was worth the cost as it included fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, different breads, as well as scrambled and soft boiled eggs. We would recommend it to anyone who would be interested in visiting Chartres. -

I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends for it's location, extremely friendly staff and comfort. It feels very chic but sits comfortably in the beautiful city of Chartres, literally by the cathedral

The hotel was relatively new and located in a business park on the outskirts of Dreux, so it seems remote, but there are two restaurants and a Macdonald's within a 3-5 minute walk, so if you're just there for a quick stopover on your journey, it's perfectly suited.
Decor is nice and the wetroom / bathroom was of a very high standard.

Staff are brilliant, very kind and helpful. Rooms a good size, parking secure and plenty of it. Breakfast very good value as it is buffet. Lots of choice, eat as much as you want, suitable for vegetarians. Lovely facilities, handy for the motorways. I would recommend it to anyone, restaurants nearby, within walking distance. Excellent! The best hotel we have stayed in in the area.
