Exceptionally quiet location with la Loire at the bottom of the lovely large garden. Would be great to stay with dogs (which are accepted). Only a few minutes drive from Orleans centre. Staff very helpful and good breakfast. No restaurant Sunday evening but help from staff on where to eat locally, or trip into Centre.

Fantastic location, a stone,s throw from the cathedral and the old town of Chartres. Very helpful map sent beforehand by the hotel with info for where to park to drop off luggage. Free car park pass from the hotel for the underground car park which was a five minute walk away. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Do not miss the light show at the cat

The location right next to the Cathedral is wonderful and this puts you in the best place for exploring Chartres.
The breakfast was fabulous.
The manageress/owner was lovely and really helpful.
The parking (included in the room rate) in a nearby public car park is easily arranged with the hotel.
The room Les Anges was beautiful - very romantic, with views to the front and rear of the hotel, a screened-off sitting area and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath.
We will definitely return.

Location is perfect, a short walk from the town centre, but set back from the road, so quiet and peaceful. Convenient for restaurants, cafes and food shops. Great location, friendly staff and an amazing view of the hillside. Pool area looked nice although too cold for a swim. We stayed in the apartment which has lovely views. A sitting area within the apartment would have been nice but ample spare in the bar downstairs for that.

We used Tours as a stop over en route to Bordeaux. The facilities were neat, spacious and clean and the location was also hood as there was a mall for shopkping across the street. -
Good place to stay to visit the Loire on a budget. No frills but clean and tidy. Great staff and easy access to town. (Will be even better when the tram link opens)

Characterful B & B (not an hotel) in an old large family house with spacious rooms, solid furnishings and décor from a bygone era, overlooking the Loire with a tram service 250m away into Tour city centre. The large bed was the best we slept in out of 9 on our trip. Breakfast pastries and coffee wonderful. Proprietress welcoming and very helpful.

Very close to good public transport. It is still within reasonable walking distance to the centre though. About 15 minutes. Correct laneway access does confuse satnav as it dosn't recognise street. But we still found it easy enough though. Good value for money. Staff quite helpful. -

Dinner was really good - food, service and wine.
It's dog friendly (at €15 ea!) and if you have animals with you the best bet is to book the rooms by the pool, with access directly into the grounds. -
