The best hotel I ever stayed in. Located in the heart of the historical part of the city. Feels like you are positioned in the castle.

My room was away from the street, and, during my stay was really quiet. I slept well.
The hostal offers value for money, it is very central, and the building, an old terraced mansion block, had some character to it.
The hotel manager was helpful and friendly, and gave me a great little map & tourist guide of Avila which got me started.
The room had a radiator, and overnight the building was quite warm enough.

staff didn't speak much english but were very welcoming and hospitable eg the gentleman at reception when i checked in took great care to make sure the wifi worked for me! and recommended a great breakfast place around the corner when i bumped into him in the morning as i was walking around. the hotel is recently renovated and was clean and neat.

The hotel is situated just outside the centre of town. Our rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable. The hotel was perfect for us as the room rates were very reasonable and just needed to stay for a night. -

Such a beautiful and welcoming hotel. Although we had a small room our three big dogs and one small one were welcome at this pet friendly place. Such a good location and pretty. Everyone helpful and underground parking opposite - a bonus in the city! Easy walking distance from everywhere. -

I travelled to Avila by train so this was ideal. My room and bathroom both had windows with window boxes. Although I cannot speak Spanish the staff were still very helpful.
It is near Lidl and Aldi. There are a lot of inexpensive cafes. -
