  We stayed at the Heritage apartments rather than the main hotel. The apartment was much higher up the hill, and gave us glorious views over Queenstown , lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables from the balcony. All rooms had lake views. - God service. Friendly staff. Good advice on where to visit.

  Brilliant place to stay. To be frank, it turned out much better than I had expected it to be. We took the room with a Lakeview and it was just perfect. They have laundry in the room itself, so thats very convenient.   The apartment was very tastefully decorated, very clean, very good layout. It had a gorgeous view of the lake especially that we stayed on the lower level close to the lake so no obstruction from other buildings. There were beautiful flowers around the terrace and the scent was fabulous. The bedroom door opened to the living room and then you had a stunning view of the lake. The staff was - We stayed in an excellent one bedroom apartment with an amazing view. Spotlessly clean with a gas fireplace, heated bathroom floors and a Bose iPod player, it was total comfort. Owner welcomed us warmly and helped us in every possible way. Excellent place to stay in Queenstown- you can walk into town on the walking path in 25-30 minutes. A little pricey but worth it. Highly recommended.
