We liked everything about this hotel as our ratings show.The staff were lovely, friendly, spoke magnificent English and could not have done more to welcome us. The view of the lake and island would overcome most shortcomings; however, there were none. We had a comfortable room, a nice balcony (overlooking the town, lake and island) and the staff, mostly one family, were helpful and friendly. The pool is a bonus. The distance from the village centre is just right - a brief stroll but far enough away.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm. The parking is very comfortable. The room is not fancy but clean, large and beautiful with a great view to the lake. There is an Orta Lake beach near the hotel with free entrance to hotel guests. Hotel position overlooking the lake.
Excellent food in restaurant. But our holiday was made by the kind attentions of the manager, Otello. Nothing too much trouble and he was the one ray of sunshine in what was disappointing weather for time of year. Whilst we were there, wifi was installed but only available in reception area at the moment. Big bonus.

The shower..I Stayed alone, but I suggest for couples..amazing bigshower! Gorgeous buffet breakfast - The proximity to the square and the lake was fantastic. I loved the views from our loft room. Apart from the breakfast staff the hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful.

The staff really took care of us. Our first night we slept in the Quadruple (the room for four persons at the top of the house) at Santa Caterina, and it was nice. The hotel is in an ideal position on Lake Orta. beautiful views and great breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit salad among other things. Barbara, the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely room, very clean. And Lake Orta is lovely.
