  We liked everything about this hotel as our ratings show.The staff were lovely, friendly, spoke magnificent English and could not have done more to welcome us. The hotel was a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Orta and within easy reach of Sacro Monte.. The view from our window of Isola San Giulio was superb. The restaurant we could not fault. We had a comfortable room, a nice balcony (overlooking the town, lake and island) and the staff, mostly one family, were helpful and friendly. The pool is a bonus. The distance from the village centre is just right - a brief stroll but far enough away.

  The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm. The parking is very comfortable. The room is not fancy but clean, large and beautiful with a great view to the lake. There is an Orta Lake beach near the hotel with free entrance to hotel guests. In evening we stayed in hotel and went to hotel restaurant. The meal ... hva folk sier » was great (reasonable prices). The hotel has also vine cellar where we could choose from the various assortment of vines. The breakfast was tasty. - Hotel position overlooking the lake. Excellent food in restaurant. But our holiday was made by the kind attentions of the manager, Otello. Nothing too much trouble and he was the one ray of sunshine in what was disappointing weather for time of year. Whilst we were there, wifi was installed but only available in reception area at the moment. Big bonus.
