  Casa sul Lago has a wonderful position on fhe lakefront and is just a short walk from the village Orta San Giulio. It has magnificent views across the lake and is an easy drive to Lake Maggiore.   The apartment was very large, even by Italy standards. It was reasonably clean and in a wonderful location. The owner cheerfully picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, saving us carfare, because although it was within walking distance, it was on a very narrow and steep road & would have been dangerous to walk. There was also a w... hva folk sier » ashing machine and there was soap provided for it as well as some shampoo. - we really liked Maria who looked after us and all our questions and even helped find a wedding present. The central location of this apartment is perfect The apartment was great and the shower was really good. 2 bathrooms helped a lot The views were very good considering we were one street back from the lake side.
