Bumi Muwa is a little gem. The entrance is narrow and hard to find, but after entering you are in paradise. Beautifull garden, much privacy and no streetnoise. The luxury rooms are large and have own terrace in the garden. The swimming pool is now at the neighbors but Bumi Muwa build their own, which will be ready in 2 months. great location and fantastic staff. very helpful and always smiling. would stay again for sure if u need a budget hotel and u r out rest of day. Lunch and dinner is not in hotel but lots of places to eat on the same street so not an issue.as also 7-11 type stores all within seconds for any basic needs.
alle vurderinger » Great location, no more than a 10 minute walk anywhere you'd want to go. The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. Breakfast is simple but tasty and the pool was great with comfortable loungers. I originally booked for 1 week but ended up staying for 2. The staff was incredible the room was perfect, clean and the bed is big. The pool is nice The breakfast was perfect. The location is close to the monkey forest and you have a lot of restaurants and pub near the hotel. Nice hotel wi clean and tidy rooms. They have a nice terrace and have recently constructed a new pool. Although it is just on monkey road, it is quiet and noise from the street is not herd in the rooms. Location is good; it's very near the Monkey Forest. Sang Spa is a few steps away. The breakfast is okay, and the beverage inside the room's fridge are reasonably priced. We loved Ubud very much. The staff were very helpful, the garden and swimming pool was perfectly kept, the room was neat and clean. Good location. Good location near to the monkey forest, clean, lovely garden, bery quiet and relaxing to be just in the middle of Ubud. We stayed for 9 days in the hotel. The upstairs rooms are the standard ones but much better than downstairs because you can hear everything. The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the Monkey Forest Street close to all main tourist attractions. It has a very nice garden. location is so close to Monkey Forest, 15 -20 mintues walk to Ubud market. The entrance should be better indicated. A showercurtain or glass sheet is necessary in the bathroom. at times monkey issue but that is only very early morning but staff ensures they are kept away. Only that the monkeys woke me up many mornings playing on the roof and patio but if you stay on monkey forest road that's going to happen! Just bring ear plugs. The place where the staff slept was the same place as the kitchen and their toilet. I thought it looked unhygienic. Shower over bath spread water over floor - perhaps could be fixed by shower screen or curtain.(slippery floor when wet). The pool is still not working and no one even tells you about it. The staff is ok, but not really interested. They don't give the place a nice welcoming atmosphere. They charged me a high price for the taxi pick up. The bed sheet were not fully clean and the bathroom was a bit dated. Their was a strong smell of humidity in the room (but this seems to be quite common in Bali). Some flyes in bedroom. The bathroom is so old. The towel is too old. there is no tea heater bottle,,no hair drier , no tea bag,coffee bag, the staffe is so so, its not worth for what the price is.
