We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of our stay. The monkey forest is just down the road, but you don't even need to go, as the monkeys often roam the grounds. We sat with them on the green and fed them sunflower seeds with no issues. You are very near town and many other places to go and see, temples etc. The staff were amazingly helpful, aiding us with booking tours and transfers. They gave us a wake up call when we needed to leave early and also got breakfast ready for us at 6. alle vurderinger »
Staff was really helpful and friendly. We decided to go to a dans performance at the last minute and they literally jumped on their motorbikes to arrange tickets and dropped us off without wanting us to pay for it. Fortunately they accepted some tip.
the staff at Wenara bungalows were lovely - very friendly, helpful and attentive. Nice pool area. Basic breakfast included in price.
Ubud was lovely, would have liked to have stayed for a bit longer.

Padlock on the door didn't feel that safe, but we had no worries that the staff weren't keeping a watchful eye so it never felt like a problem.
The room is really light (not all windows have curtains and the ones that have are very light). Also the road next to it is really noisy.
The rooms weren't serviced thoroughly everyday - rubbish bins not emptied. I had to ask for clean towels after day 4 of a 8 day stay. I would have expected mosquito nets in a room with no air conditioning or screens on the windows. I did have some problems with mosquitos.
