I enjoyed the variety of breakfasts every morning as well as how the staff brings your breakfast straight to your door as soon as you awake. I also had coffee and tea available at all times of the day. The owner was extremely helpful in helping us plan the activities we wanted to do. He also drove us around Ubud at no charge. The guesthouse itself is a little tricky to find, but worth it. The alleys in Ubud are safe and there was no concern to be walking them after dark.

Free Coffee and tea available all day long on your porch and breakfast served also at your room. Beautiful bungalows, typical balinese architecture with a family temple. Very quiet and clean. A perfect combination of affordable price and great experience!. What a wonderful find the Secret Garden was - tucked away enough to be quiet and restful, yet close enough to shops, restaurants and taxis. Each day we awoke to coffee, tea and hot water waiting for us on our porch, and breakfast was delivered to our rooms when we were ready. The bed was very comfortable. And the owners could not have been more helpful. We loved it so much we stayed there twice! And we hope to return sometime soon. Small guesthouse, separate bugalows, quiet and peaceful. Good localization, 10 minutes walk from Monkey Forrest and 20 minutes from Ubud Market. Friendly and helpful family owning guesthouse - thanks to them I spend wonderful stressless week in Ubud. They introduced me to culture, habits, religion and attractions of Bali. Very supportive. Owner can be also a recommended driver and guide! Excellent place!. This is a family business. The couple who run the business are very helpful. Breakfast was served on the porch of each cottage as well as tea or coffee in the afternoon. It has a lovely garden setting while being very accessible to the main shopping areas and attractions such as the monkey forest and fire dances as well as spas for reflexology and massage. Great, quiet location down a side street only 2 minutes from the busy main shop/restaurant areas and less than 10 mins from the monkey forest. Rooms were clean and tidy although we did get rather strange hello kitty bed sheets! The owners were very kind and brought drinks to your room as soon as you got back from a day out - a nice touch :-). It is a very wonderful place. Very clean, in a good location. I really like the family that runs the place. They are very helpful and hospitable and the breakfast is great too. I am so happy I stayed there. I am still here and loving my stay. Great beds, lovely garden, good breakfast. It is very conveniently located in the main street near the Monkey Forest, cafés, restaurants and shops. They work hard to make the place beautiful by putting flowers in the room, the bathroom and the seating area outside the room, which is a nice touch. They provide hot water in a thermos along with coffee and tea in the afternoon. Before my check-out, I was late for breakfast, but they still offered to serve me a breakfast. The owner is nice. Prlce is good. Breakfast is not much but good. The garden is really nice. I think I like Ubud mainly because of this hotel. It's off the main busy street but near enough to some restaurants and shops. + nice bed + location + quiet + nice staff + nice breakfast. Price good if on a budget. No swimming pool (but we knew it)!. There is a long dark alley but this is typical Bali. Although my room was almost perfect, the toilett was not well-separated...this could be charming but a bit unconfortable. N/A. Easy to hear when someone is on the toilet. Bit far from main road and dark alley. The ceiling fan was not capable of cooling down the room and it was very hot. I couldn't get any Wi-Fi reception. It's expensive to rent the owner's car. But book cooking class and rafting is cheaper. I saw a mouse in the owners office. But the room is OK. The place is at the end of a long alley (dark at night) and not accessible by car. That's the secret - and there's not much of any garden. My first room was big but kind of worn down. My second room was smaller but newer and cleaner. It is priced more than most for the value and location. While the owner agreed to lower my rates if I'd stay, he quickly changed his mind after someone offered a higher price. Not a problem as I quickly found a better & much cheaper one just by walking around. - no aircon - bathroom poorly clean. Very dark & gloomy in the room Location not great, dogs barking during the night and children crying early in the morning.
