Me and my husband stayed 2 nights for my birthday and chistmas shopping, free parking and about 15mins away from city centre. The outside of the hotel is beautiful and very well looked after. The pub / dinning is very warm and welcoming with an open fire. There is set meals and I must say very yummy and breakfast. Service was again 100% friendly who will go out their way to help. The rooms are luxurious, cosy, warm and spacious. We swapped rooms on arrival as we wanted

  From the moment I was greeted by the lady of the Hotel, I felt welcome. I was given a very comfortable - if modest double room for a single stay. I wish I could have packed the mattress and pillows into my luggage and taken them home with me. The Bathroom was sufficient, the room was clean and quiet.   The staff are the best ever experienced in a hotel. It is in a fantastic location, with lots of shops and bars/pubs within a minute or two walk.   The member of staff who greeted us was lovely and really helpful - providing crayons & pictures as we went in was ingenious so parents can unpack & kids are busy!! She said we looked tired so she would be quick :-) Everything was v. clean and things like the Tv having channels to keep kids amused and extra pillows makes it more relaxed. I recommend this hotel. - We spent one night in order to attend a social event in Southampton. The hotel was great with friendly staff. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and had breakfast there in the morning. Our evening meal was great value and even though there were a lot of children and very busy it was still comfortable. We were only a short journey from where we were going and it was lovely to return to somewhere quiet and comfortable.
