  The small dent in my wallet when I left; I was warmly welcomed, had a clean comfortable room, a hot working shower, a large breakfast, and on-site free parking, two minutes walk from my venue, the Guildhall. Had an early departure on the morning, but the manager kindly prepared me an excellent warm breakfast before the regular breakfast time.   Good value for money, can't complain about price. However it would have been good to know that there is no bathroom, but only a toilet, and that the shower is a cabin within the room. As we shared our room with my mother-in-law, it required a bit of turning the eye and covering up while getting ready to shower and after the shower. For the price... wat mensen zeggen » you get the basics, so a bed, shower, toilet, tv, towels, and one soap bar. Don't expect more as you get what you pay for. So if you need your shower - receptionist (Vicki) was very friendly upon check-in. I was afraid it would be noisy as it fronted onto a busy road but didn't hear a thing all night. bed was comfortable. single room was smallish but adequate for my one night stay. next door to mcdonalds if don't want to pay for hotel breakfast and close to ikea, supermarkets and entertainment venues. close to train station and coach station (can walk it) and about a 6 pound taxi fare to the cruise terminals.

Rooms are basic, clean and ideal for a night or two can't fault.

  Perfect hospitality! We spent 3 nights and we got all the help we needed and also a great full English Breakfast! 10 minutes walk from city center, was perfect for us. It was also easy to park the car right putside the door. Thank you for a pleasant stay! - Great location for city life, countryside and sea side to.
