  I upgraded to a four poster room for a minimum additional charge. The room was warm, comfortable and scrupulously clean. Staff (owner and family) very friendly and helpful. I arrived before the closure of the restaraunt so had an excellent chinese meal. The breakfast was also well prepared and there was a choice. He took our 4 month old and turned his mood around (he was getting bored and grumpy..) so he was happy and entertained during our evening meal – meaning we were actually able to eat our dinner.. The locals in the pub were very friendly also. Lovely food, clean rooms, and charming decor. Highly recommended all round!

Spazioso anche il bagno interno dotato di doccia e presa elettrica europea, dove poter ricaricare il telefonino senza necessità di adattatore. La colazione di tipo continentale era accettabile e abbondante. I proprietari sono molto disponibili.

  When we got to Heythrop Park we asked to upgrade our room, this was done seamlessly. The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. Location is excellent as are facilities. - The hotel was fantastic. The rooms were massive and clean - felt very homely in the main house. The food was brilliant and the staff were friendly!

  We chose The Bull because it was pet (dog) friendly. We booked a room advertised as a small double which turned out to be the most spacious "small" room we have ever stayed in. The room was a lovely garret room with a full double bed, a desk, two night tables, a full bathroom and plenty of space to move around. We had dinner in the restaurant which was really up to Michelin star - The reception was warm and friendly with the log fire burning, the staff were friendly and tentative to everyone's needs. I chose the small double bedroom which turned out to be 'cosy', no that small you felt squashed. Situated in a lovely Cotswold's village but close to Oxford it was an excellent location for my business trip and also sightseeing.

We ate in the restaurant on the first night and I have to say that the food was excellent, especially the peppered pork with fondant potatoes which was superb! We will definitely return! - I liked the quite location in the countryside which made it relaxing, but its still only 15-20 mins away from Burford and Witney if you want to look around the shops etc. The staff were friendly and the food and accommodation were good.
