Before they could let us into our room, they kept our bags for us, so we could get acquainted with our surroundings. The location was fantastic. Easy walking to Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, London Eye. There was a Starbucks across the square which was great for morning coffees and a good Italian restaurant as well. The waterloo underground and train station were close by for all other transport. The rooms were very clean, and the staff very helpful with directions and booking a taxi for our trip to the airport. We had 2 triple rooms on the 10th floor with our daughters

The rooms were lovely and clean and have everything we needed and we all got a great nights sleep. The staff were really helpful and it was great to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in time and after. Breakfast was really good too and set us up for our days sight seeing. All in all a lovely, clean, bright and friendly hotel, where the staff were always genuinely happy to help. was also useful to have a Tesco Express right next door.

This hotel is a gem. Strategically located for the theatre and shopping district we could not have asked for more central. Newly refurbished we booked a small room but beleive me is big enough and has a clever boat like seating area with a desk and all plugs you can need. & July 2013.
The hotel is situated in a "business area" with the popular Borough Market nearby. It is within walking distance of the underground and many of London's tourist attractions. We always felt safe walking in the area.

ever slept in, much better than the 5 star knightsbridge hotel we stayed
in earlier in year! Great breakfast in the Anchor pub next door.
Breakfast room upstairs with river & terrace views . Lots to do in
area, took the river boat down to the Eye (you can also walk this in 15-
20mins) then 10 mins on foot to Horseguards parade and onto Trafalgar
Square.

We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village.
The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters.
We found out that the hostel was surprisingly clean, even though it's completely administered by

Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, very simple but good breakfast,
great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The
Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.).
Underground station "London Bridge" 3 minutes from the
hostel. Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two
nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really
good price.
