The staff have been excellent, except when arriving when they were on a hurry and wanted us to sign and pay without giving us 2 minutes to read the small characters of the T&C's.

The room was comfortable and spotless, and reasonable size. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable. Abbey Lodge is perfectly positioned for a stroll into town or along the seafront. Bernadotte and her husband were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was exactly as and when requested.

Friendly owners and really comfy room. The location was perfect - really close to the sea and the town. - could'nt fault a thing - spotlessly clean, excellent facilities, fantastic staff and superb breakfast!!

Helen, the owner of Boydens house, was extremely friendly and welcoming us with bright smile. The room we stayed as fantastic, especially for young couple and breakfast was great too.
Just a few mins to walk to central Brighton and Brighton Pier, and lots of restaurants, pubs, bars, and supermakets around area.
I'd like to strongly recommend it to my friends and families.

The staff were just lovely. The room was not only cosy and spotless with beauiful decor, but a King Size Bed made everything just perfect. It was quiet, there was a garden with seating for smokers, a DVD library, freedom to come and go and whatever time, a minibar - just (sigh) what more could you ask? Highly recommended. The breakfast was smashing

Everything was wonderful! The room was small but the bed was amazing and the interior of the room was very stylish. The welcome was warm, with a quick but efficient guide to all of the amenities, we were shown to our room with all the courtesy of a top class guesthouse.
The bedroom was fantastic, very clean and tidy, with quite possibly one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a long time!! Bathroom was small but spotless and everything worked, hot water etc.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the free access to the kitchen drinks and snacks was a welcome respite from the "minibar" set

Great value for money, room small but there was a private toilet and shower with clean towels, soap and shower gel, which was great. Wouldn't expect more for the price I paid. When I arrived the lady was very helpful and told me everything I needed to know about how the hotel works. It was ok for one night. -
