We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow which is fabulous and the Edinburgh one did not disappoint either. I believe it's only around 1 year old and this is evident in the decor of the hotel and the cleanliness - the rooms were immaculate! Location is perfect. They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Its a short walk to Waverly Station and all main tourist attractions can be reached by foot if you like to walk.
Room was excellent, breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive.
A little bit pricey but for a stay during the Festival it was fairly priced compared to other optio

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was a bother to them. Apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly want or need, right down to the little extra touches of milk in the fridge and a very informative and useful welcome pack. Loved the style of the apartment. Great facilities and very comfortable. Great location.

This facility is ideal for a multiple night stay. With full kitchen, bath, and laundry facilities in a luxury apartment setting, it was an ideal home-away-from-home getaway. The value of the apartment was far greater than that of a hotel room in our opinion. The staff was helpful in every way and the amenities provided were excellent. It is close to the bus lines and also easy to walk to many of the lovely places in Leith and Edinburgh.

Very good self catering facilities. The flat was provided with clean towels and hair dryers for each room. It even had sky tv. Walking distance to royal mile and the castle. The staff was very attentive and courteous. Enjoyed the stay, I would highly recommend.

My TV needed reprogramming at 8pm on a Bank Holiday, out-of-hours maintenance attended promptly and fixed quickly. - Found it very convienient and as I come from Leith I really enjoyed being there at a very good rate but as mentioned above...if I need to come down on my own again and the price had gone up I wouldn't be able to afford to stay. If however I was with friends then I wouldn't hesitate to use the apartments again

we liked everything. We arrived on Fri 10th May and were made very welcome by Angela. We chose this because we don't like to be in the center of the big towns we visit. Even if it is a little bit far from the Edinburgh centre, the bus connection is excellent and at a few steps from the house. The Portobello beach is also close, a stunning place, really worth a visit.
Loved the host, very nice lady and very pleasant. Loved the stories she told me about the house. Very good recommendations also.

Pauline and George the owners were so friendly and Pauline's humour was everything we'd hoped from a true Scots, a very witty woman! They went out of their way to make us feel at home and their home was so cosy and relaxed. The breakfast was excellent and really filled us up for the day. The dog features made it look even cosier and no dogs were seen unless we asked to see them, who were adorable. We highly recommend this lovely guest house. -
The manager - Pauline - was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious enough, clean and warm, bathroom the same, breakfast was also great (we could choose btw English and Continental). It is a bit further from the city centre but there is a bus stop in front of the house and two buses go regularly to the centre, it takes about 30 minutes so no trouble. The place is very calm and quiet so you can have a decent sleep, which is great.

We are a Spanish people living in Liverpool and we spent the weekend in this beautiful Guest House to visit Edinburgh. We went by car, so the free parking 24 hours was perfect for us( Its is situated right at the hotel), The most famous Edinburgh's points are in walking distance, no need for a car.
