we liked everything. We arrived on Fri 10th May and were made very welcome by Angela. Shown to our lovely room, offered coffee and Angela gave us lot's of information on places to go, eat etc. It was great not having to use the car for 3 days as the bus stop not far and took us into Edinburgh. We chose this because we don't like to be in the center of the big towns we visit. Even if it is a little bit far from the Edinburgh centre, the bus connection is excellent and at a few steps from the house. The Portobello beach is also close, a stunning place, really worth a visit.

The B&B was in a fantastic location. Just a short walk from Holyrood Park where you can walk up Arthur's Seat. Also about a 25 minute walk into the city centre or very close to a bus stop where buses leave regularly, never had to wait more than 5 mins for a bus. The Clarin was a wonderful place to stay in Edinburgh. It is conveniently located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just south of the city by a short bus ride. It was easy to find by bus from the airport as well. The breakfasts were fit for a king and the amenities were equally as marvelous. Definitely one of the most impressive places we have stayed in.

Bob was a great host. Explained how to get to Oldtown upon arrival as well as directing us to a great waterfront restaurant. He also called a cab for us. Although we were on the 3rd floor our luggage was in our room upon arrival. The B&B was spotless and very nice! -

Isabel and Harry were the perfect hosts. On our arrival, seeing my husband had a disability our room was immediately changed to a first floor room from a second floor room, without even asking. Molly and Roxy the family dogs were adorable and very friendly. We have no problem recommending and staying here again, fantastic.
