Really enjoyed our stay - you could not meet a nicer or more genuine couple than Dot and her husband. The room was really nice with a lovely shower and big tv. Breakfast each morning was brilliant and had a nice choice of a fry or continental. The location is a bit outside the city centre (about £8-10 for a taxi at night) but during the day there ... what people say » is a bus literally right outside the door. The chef even gave us change for the bus -
The hosts Ted and Dot were very friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Value for money. The restaurant attached to the Lodge and run by our hosts was first class and reasonably priced. 5 star meal for a 3 star price. Well done. The Lodge was close to transport to get into Edinburgh, which was not to far away

Dave and Susan were the nicest couple, who made you feel friendly and at home in their beautiful Georgian style B&B in the city centre of Edinburgh. The B&B is conveniently located; it's a 25 minutes walk to the Royal Mile or a bus ride of 5 minutes. The breakfast was exceptionally well organised with lots of fresh fruits, croissants, yoghurts and cereals, and many different sorts of baked goods.
I would recommend this B&B to everyone and if we return to Edinburgh, we will definitel

Excellent facilities in large traditional Edinburgh house, central
situation with easy access to town centre and attractions. Very
reasonably priced for facilities and the fact that it was a Rugby
Weekend which usually incurs doubling the price by many other Hotels and
Guest Houses. Whilst the guest house doesn't do breakfasts there are
good facilities nearbye, although for this particular weekend the host
cooked all guests who were visiting for the rugby a great breakfast on
