  We were on our way to Croatia. We got at the same price a larger apartment than ordered because of the children. The owners were very helpful and accommodating over the standard. We stay one night there. The staff was very very family friendly, the room was big and beds were really comfortable. There is wonderfull playground, which children can run and play and enjoy fun after boring sitting in the car.

  The hostel is run by a young lady with help of her parents. They are all extremely friendly and welcoming and they make you feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent, the hostel is recently renovated and the location is excellent, just across the bridge from Ptuj center. At Hostel Sonce we had a perfectly clean and comfortable Quintuple room for our family. We were made to feel so welcome by the wonderful family who runs the hostel. We can't thank them enough for their kindness to us and our children. Breakfast was wonderful also. Thank you Iva and family!

  Such a relaxed and laid back place to stay / drink if not using their accommodation. Really friendly staff who did not try to focus any blame on me when our booking wasn't quite right - I had originally booked a twin then modified that booking for same dates but a larger double, but they had no record of the modification - thankfully I had my boo... cosa dice la gente » king confirmation so they managed to get the room i wanted and also agreed the quoted booking price could stay the same, at no point trying to infer I - It was one of the nicest places we have ever been to. It`s a truly extraordinary place in a beautiful little town. The pension and the rooms are tastefully decorated, the owners care about every detail. Our room was small, but for one night stay it was just perfect. The staff was really friendly, and breakfast was fantastic (worth making a photo). We would definitely stay there again and we recommend this place to anyone visiting Ptuj or travelling via Slovenia to Croatia. You will surely like

  Franc, the owner was hilarious. We arrived, we joked around, we took a shot of his brother's schnapps with him at 11:00 am, which he described as "borderline to poison but I am still alive." We're all still alive too after downing a double, hung over from the night before in Ljubljana it really cleared the head. The next day we woke up h - It was a beautiful vila 10 mins walking from the city center. Great neighbourhood with plenty of manor houses. There was also a nice walking rout to the wineyards. The hotel had a feeling of being at home and the owner was a very nice man. We had a very nice and illustrative conversation with the owner while having a delicious breakfas.

  Silak Rooms and Apartments is an extraordinary value. In a recently- renovated historic building, the room was extremely well-appointed, exceptionally clean, and with a stunning view of the city centre. Vladimir was very welcoming and eager to do whatever he could to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast is generous and offers healthy options...they served me an hour early in order that I could catc - The hotel is in a quiet part of the city. It has complete wood furniture, untreated with chemicals and you can enjoy silence and comfort. And the owners are extraordinary people, we would come back anytime in Ptuj to stay in this place. Ptuj is one of the oldest towns in Slovenia and this hotel in located on the oldest street in Ptuj. It is a very old house, upgraded to meet modern standards, and it's owner Vladimir is very proud of it. I would recomend this place to everyone, because there is

  Have stayed in different hotels in Maribor over the last years but this one is my favourite. Close to the center, no parking problems, great value for money, nice atmosphere, great personel. Only minus may be the lack of breakfast but there are a few bakeries nearby and at restaurant Cantante a block away they serve great bruchettas from 9 o'clock... cosa dice la gente » - Maribor is very quaint little town with lots of history, it takes very little time to walk around the centre, through the parks and even up to the vineyards if you are relatively fit and healthy. The hostel itself is excellent - clean, spacious, great facilities and close to town, not to mention unbelievable value for money.

  The host immediately greeted us on our arrival and was very helpful and regularly checked if all was OK. Breakfast was great. Home made ham and cheese was delicious. There is also a great selection of cereals, yoghurts coffee etc. The apartment was fantastic. Set on 2 floors it was very cosy and comfortable, as well as spacious. Perfect for walking our d - The view there was superb! We took many photos of the fabulous view. So we found the location to be excellent. The hosts themselves were really friendly, so if we had questions they always were happy to answer and help out. They had a wine yard and made their own wines there and we had the opportunity to taste those wines and see how the wine is made. And I must add that their wines tasted excellent! The only thing what we had to do is to ask the hosts if they offered the opportunity to do so.
