Everything about the Stern Farm was lovely. Barbara was warm and welcoming, the house and our room were clean, comfortable, and in great condition. Plus, the food was delicious. Absolutely exceptional - a big furnished room with wooden furniture, view to the garden with animals and great countryside, Barbara and her family are great very nice people and food was amazing...a Michelin inspector should visit and try it! It is great if you have everything for breakfast homemade (yogurth, jam, bread, butter, tea, hams, cheese etc) This was not our last time staying there :-)

New and modern Hotel, well designed and very comfortable.
We also liked very much and are glad to recommend the neighboring restaurant, Gostilna Siker, owned by the same family.
We enjoyd very much a great typical Slovenian meal from local products.

The hotel is in a quiet part of the city. It has complete wood furniture, untreated with chemicals and you can enjoy silence and comfort.
And the owners are extraordinary people, we would come back anytime in Ptuj to stay in this place. Ptuj is one of the oldest towns in Slovenia and this hotel in located on the oldest street in Ptuj. It was one of the nicest places we have ever been to. It`s a truly
extraordinary place in a beautiful little town. The pension and the
rooms are tastefully decorated, the owners care about every detail. Our
room was small, but for one night stay it was just perfect. The staff
was really friendly, and breakfast was fantastic (worth making a photo).
We would definitely stay there again and we recommend this place to
anyone visiting Ptuj or travelling via Slovenia to Croatia. You will

The view there was superb! We took many photos of the fabulous view. So we found the location to be excellent.
The hosts themselves were really friendly, so if we had questions they always were happy to answer and help out.
They had a wine yard and made their own wines there and we had the opportunity to taste those wines and see how the wine is made. And I must add that their wines tasted excellent! The only thing what we had to do is to ask the hosts if they offered the opportunity to do so.

We were on our way to Croatia. We got at the same price a larger apartment than ordered because of the children. The owners were very helpful and accommodating over the standard. The owner gave us the needed medicines for children, and before leaving personally drove us to the pharmacy and showed a new entrance to the highway. -

We loved our stay at Apartments Bona-Bolfenk. The balcony looked over the gorgeous forest which at the time was ablaze with Autumn colours. The apartment was exceptionally clean and brand new. The hotel is located just by the Drava river, close to the old city center. We had a spacious, very comfortable room with a great view of the river. The location is excellent as a starting point for discovering Maribor - a nice and quiet city not so well known and crowded. We also enjoyed a lot the restaurant's terrace.
