  We loved the old English Manor look, it was very quaint and very appealing. Loved being able to have the big windows open in the restuarant and the ducks on the little lake outside. Very clean and comnfortable beds and very roomy for a studio.....we had a lovely time. We went on a Bays wine tour...had great day and got picked up and dropped back./ - Very spacious, very comfortable. Well decorated, fireplace was a plus. Kitchen was efficient and spotless. Staff very helpful and professional. We had a malfunctioning washing machine, and the staff completed the laundry, bringing it folded back to me. That was beyond the call of duty.

  We loved the location right by the beach and above the shops. Very convenient to go for a stroll along the park, beach, playgrounds or have a drink and nibble at the bar below. Beautiful views! It had all the creature comforts and although the traffic was quite noisy (nothing you can do about that), it was very quiet once you closed the sliding do... cosa dice la gente » ors - not that this bothered us. The kitchen had everything you needed and the apartment was spacious enough for the two of us. - Fantastic,- design, location, space, cleanliness. The manager was great - he ensured we were having a great stay without being intrusive - always friendly and available if needed. everything was made very clear when booked in as to when it would be cleaned etc. Would highly recommend this place to others and keen to return.

  Even though the letsbookhotel.com interface with the registration system meant 2 rooms booked became 1 room, the reception handled the situation well. Had a single room in a backpacker pub. Simple, but very functional with good en suite facilities. Pub atmosphere with a good bar, basic meals, and plenty else to do.   Love the old Nelson feel to the Port O'Call bar, and the reception area. We also enjoyed the Teppanyaki at Miyazu, and our room was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get a room with a view toward the Cathedral.   This motel is rated 3 star but this doesn't really do it justice - I think it is more like a 3.5. Have stayed there twice now and would definitely return. It is close to the beach, airport and a number of good cafes, bars and restaurants. And a big thanks to the very helpful Sunday receptionist who kindly did my washing for me when I couldn't g... cosa dice la gente » et the guest machine to work! - The rooms were well equipped with everything needed, I liked the card access method to rooms instead of keys. Good parking and excellent vicinity to the beach, amenities and restaurants at least a dozen within walking distance! Excellent value for price.
