We arrived early and were given a very warm welcome. We found the hotel carefully restored and very comfortable, with a full range of facilities. The bar and restaurant were equally welcoming and comfortable, and overall we had a really wonderful stay and were really sorry to have to leave.

The apartments were very close to the city centre, so fairly handyfor restaurants. The receptionist was very helpful, coping with delays in preparing our rooms very politely. A complimentary bottle of wine helped, too! It was easy to get to the airport for our flight to Stewart Island. -

This accommodation was the highest in every way, rooms are large, and the kitchen area is fully equipped. A very nice place to stay with friendly staff and good car parking

Staff friendly, very helpful. Bedroom/bathroom suite just right for people with simple needs - small but all works well. Better TV than most. Quiet. Ten mins walk to CBD. -
We got excellent value for money. Wanted somewhere that was good value for 1 night only and Bella Vista provided that.

Efficient, friendly staff. Comfortable accommodation with facilities very suitable for our overnight stay en route to Stewart Island after longish tour - so easy access to laundry facilities was very handy. 'Room service' meal from adjacent restaurant was very convenient for two tired travellers and compensated for the limited choice of restaurant

We stayed 6 nights so the daily towel packs when it was not necessary to clean the room.
We asked to move and it was not an issue.
We loved room 25 with the beautiful garden outlook.
Beds really comfy and rooms really big.

I loved the staff - they were friendly and very helpful. Our group of 30 forgot to order lunch (we assumed that the restaurant was open for lunch) during our conference - this was handled so well - we had a choice of two mains and two desserts delivered within 30 minutes. Wonderful Southland hospitality. CBD location. 10 minutes to the airport. -

Valet parking was easy. Quiet City central. Tv remote not working,
looked like flat batteries, took old ones to reception, they gave me new
replacements, problem solved. Good!

The 2 bedroom apartment was absolutely sensational. Beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need. We have a comfy king size bed at home, but the beds in this apartment with the electric blankets, left us thinking that maybe we need to upgrade our beds at home :) Fantastic hosts, just perfect. -

Clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. good outside appearance. Very nice manager, we were late getting in, had not eaten, and it was getting late. Places close early in the towns. He alled a very nice resaturant, where he knew the lady owner. She held the doors open for us. A very classy place.
