  Great stay. Lovely spacious clean room with a view over a field. Lovely friendly staff. Had no issues with noise on the Thursday night we stayed so slept well.   Jan was excellent. Pre trip, she exchanged timely emails to our questions, and willingly provided tons of information of things to do in Nelson before and during our stay. As we were only there one night, we couldn't fully experience what the Nelson area had to offer.   The owner was very cordial and helpful. The accommodations were updated and comfortable. I was very close to the ocean and town. Easy to get around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Nelson and the Beachside was one of the reasons. I highly recommend staying here.

  Clean comfortable room serviced daily with helpful staff. Off main road but close to local shops and Nelson City and Richmond ( 10 minutes car) Nice beach close by. - Nice play area for the kids. Nice area, nice beach, coming from Jersey this something that we are spoilt with.

  We really appreciated the friendly helpful service. The staff went the 'extra mile' to look after us and to make sure that we had the things we needed.   I arrived a day earlier than anticipated and Andy went out of his way to accommodate me and my grandson and upgrading us to a larger suite. He couldn't have been more helpful with local knowledge and recommendations for dining etc as this was my first visit to Nelson. Every suggestion for food and activities was perfect and they will even book activities for you. We did an Abel Tasman trip and a wine tour that picked us up from the hotel. We had a two bedroom room with a very well equipped kitchen - couldn't have asked for a better spot.
