We were 4 seniors on a fly-drive junket and very pleased with our unit. Clean and tidy, well maintained, kitchen adequate for our needs, clean towels and crisp bed linen and the surrounding grounds testament to a well kept hotel. Everything, it was our best hotel in New Zealand. The apartment was
huge, clean and extremely comfortable. We were a family with 2 children
under 3 and grandparents too and we could all have our space. The
apartment had 2 floors, 2 panoramic balconies looking at the lake, 3
bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 upstairs rooms. Easy access
from the garage to the room through an elevator. I would highly
recommend it!

The apartment was just like a very comfortable home. Loved the gas fire and the view was wonderful. Liked having the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on seperate floor from the living area. Back enterance on to top road very handy.A comfortable walk into town. -

Nicely located near to the lake, close enough to the city yet far from the noise. Fantastic facilities (washing machine & dryer, Flatscreen TVs in living area and room etc) and very well equiped kitchen with dish washer, oven and microwave. Overall a very comfortable and hassle free stay with excellent value of money! Will definitely recommend

Had an amazing time! Staff were great and rooms perfect! Really couldnt ask for more! Very close to the town (5min walk) in a nice quiet location with stunning views of the lake and snow capped mountains. Great value for money for anyone from families to groups of friends to business trips. We will stay there again for sure!

Location, location! The 1- and 2-bedroom apartments have fabulous views across Lake Wakitipu to the mountains, and the apartments are 10-15 minutes walk into central Queenstown. The local ski fields are 45-60 minutes drive away. This was our third stay in a 1-bedroom apartment here for ski-ing, and we've always been happy with it.

Lynley and Phil are great, mega helpful and friendly, they can't do enough for you. We didn't tell them we were getting married while there but when we told them they facilitated all the comings and goings of hair stylists and wedding planners. The Lodge was very spacious, gorgeous view of the lake, convenient to center of town. I would encourage you to pay extra for the lake view - it is wonderful and worth the little price. The balcony is great. The full breakfast was very good. The owners were very friendly and always helpful. This Lodge is highly recommended.

The first contact with friendly staff, GENUINE.
LOUNGE/dining room area.
The kitchenette, if you did not want to use the communal kitchen.
The surroundings beautiful.
Kitchen was well stocked with xtra plates etc.
Loved the gas cooking.
Although we did not use the breakfast facilities, I found there was an abundance of foods and variety.

We did like the environment and views outside, the lay-out of the building with rooms and balcony, preparations of food in the com- kitchen, breakfast at an affordable price, sky tv and the easy access to the carpark. The smart deal did give us the opportunity to explore. Thank you very much Shotover lodge. We will be back for more!

We were lucky enough to have a top floor apartment and the view was just spectacular. The apartments were big and roomy. We had a two bedroom apartment which is like a dual-key setup so was perfect as our daughter and her fiancé had the other room. The rooms were serviced each day and the staff on the front desk were very helpful. We just love

We loved the view from our room and how spacious the rooms were. They were serviced each day and being self-contained meant we were able to cook some of our own meals and provide our breakfast which saved on expenses. The Wi-Fi, while not free, is better value than most other places being only $10 for 24 hours. The Suites is very close to the town centre but far enough away not to attract noise from night time revellers. We just loved our stay here.

The apartment was very comfortable, the lounge setting and dining area with a lovely view over the lake was fantastic. The kitchen facilities were great, easy to create some nice meals with the gas fire going. Close to town, restaurants and lovely walking paths. Service was very friendly.

The apartment was very tastefully decorated, very clean, very good layout. It had a gorgeous view of the lake especially that we stayed on the lower level close to the lake so no obstruction from other buildings. There were beautiful flowers around the terrace and the scent was fabulous.

We stayed in an excellent one bedroom apartment with an amazing view. Spotlessly clean with a gas fireplace, heated bathroom floors and a Bose iPod player, it was total comfort. Owner welcomed us warmly and helped us in every possible way. Excellent place to stay in Queenstown- you can walk into town on the walking path in 25-30 minutes. A little pricey but worth it. Highly recommended.
