We found the motel very comfortable, even though our unit was quite old
in décor. The beds were comfortable, heating was good, and it was nice
to find a unit where you could sleep more than 2 children easily. (Unit
slept 6). Everything necessary for basic cooking was available. We
enjoyed our stay, and the lady in the office was helpful regarding

The fantastic view from all 3 windows which I've looked the harbour, the cable-car and the mountains; the very good kitchen facilities; the helpful owners, friendly welcome and free Wi-Fi. 2 mins walk from town and lakeside though it is a climb back up but easily manageable. Excellent value, owners are new and are putting improvements in every day

It has new owners who are doing everything they can to update and upgrade the facilities. This takes time but in the meantime they have made the rooms as comfortable as possible and go out of their way to make guests welcome. They showed true kiwi hospitality. It is located just 2 minutes from the town centre so you do not need a car. Everything is within walking distance.They have effective heating and it is clean and comfortable so a great place to stay and a good standard.

We dealt with a few different counter staff and all were fantastically helpful. They were happy to move our bags around from room to room and look after them whilst we were off hiking from hut to hut. Everything! This was our second stay at Coronation Lodge and we just love it. It is close to the centre of town but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We stayed in a self-contained apartment that is great if you are staying for a bit longer. You get 100mb free wifi a day and they have lots of Sky channels!

Rooms well appointed and clean.Enjoyed having a patio to sit out in. Owner very helpful with advice- I didn't want to do the 'thrills' package in Queenstown but had a great walk to Jacks point.dont bother going to the end- follow signs for clubhouse and have a well earned beer! -

Management was very friendly and helpful. They provided additional cooking equipment on request. Choice of DVDs available at front office was a hit with my kids. Nice views from the window. there. The apartment was huge and beds were some of the most comfortable
we've had anywhere. Also, the hotel has an herb garden that guests

The hotel had a great view of the lake and mountains and was very close to town to walk anywhere anytime. The room was quite big with everything you needed. The best part about it was the staff, extremely helpful and happy to assist in booking activities and give advice. I highly recommend the Lodges, good location and value for money. -

I loved the location of this motel as it was so close to town. The rooms were spacious and modern with lovely facilities. My room was ground floor with no balcony, however had a lovely area out the back which was private and sunny. Perfect place to stay in Queenstown and I would not hesitate to go back there.
