Everything about this B&B was just perfect. We felt so welcomed, and
she showed us where to eat and where to go. A pity I forgot her name.
The bed was comfortable. It was only a one night's stay and we were
there from 5pm till only 4am the next day so we couldn't enjoy more.

Only 5-10 minutes from RE:Start mall. Cafes and eateries surrounding
this B&B. Highly recommended! -
A grand house on the edge of the now very devastated and razed city.
Great lounge for a chat, and with a welcome glass of wine. Rooms
comfortable and warm. On site parking.
And they are very close to the punting on the Avon ($25 per person) which we did and really enjoyed. One of the few things that seems like the Christchurch of old.

Absolutely gorgeous renovated old building with old world charm. The decor and attention to detail in matching new with old was excellent. Whilst the room was not exceptionally spacious, it was well appointed and in sparkling condition. The bathroom was huge with both a spa bath and a separate shower. Lovely modern well equipped studio apartment complete with heated bathroom floor! Handy to be able to put together a light meal instead of eating out all the time. Very helpful staff. Within easy walking distance of all the central, now devastated area, and the beautiful botanical gardens.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, not the B&B, the apartment was spacious, very clean and well appointed. Decorated in lovely modern design. I loved the access to the courtyard and you didn't feel like you were in the middle of the city. The owner Des was incredibly accommodating and receptionist Yvette was lovely.

Room was comfortable and toasty warm. Nice comfy bed and quite a large
kitchen area which would be good if staying for a longer period. Sweet
little balcony that overlooked some nice houses on the street

Construction Workers fill many places. A motel is pretty much a motel in
nz but the price varies hugely - at a modest price this one had
facilities etc similar to those we paid double for in other towns. As

Great service from all staff during the entire stay, they were warm,
welcoming, friendly and managed to make a last minute additional booking
which was greatly appreciated. Beds are extremely comfortable as with
the bedding itself, wall heaters in the room are perfect for the chilly

Great location next to the park. The walk to downtown is about 20 minutes.The room was very nice with comfortable beds and pillow. We enjoyed the hotel's restaurants. The hotel was finishing construction from the earthquake damage, it was not a problem.

Single beds in a small dorm of five beds was good, far better than big dorms app with bunk beds. The location was great, not too far from some good places to eat and drink and not far from the central parts of Christchurch that you can still access. Free wifi was great and I could access it wherever I was in the house. So all good for me and what I wanted! And great price top
