Everything about this B&B was just perfect. We felt so welcomed, and
she showed us where to eat and where to go. A pity I forgot her name.

A grand house on the edge of the now very devastated and razed city.
Great lounge for a chat, and with a welcome glass of wine. Rooms
comfortable and warm. On site parking.
And they are very close to the punting on the Avon ($25 per person) which we did and really enjoyed. One of the few things that seems like the Christchurch of old.

Absolutely gorgeous renovated old building with old world charm. The decor and attention to detail in matching new with old was excellent. Whilst the room was not exceptionally spacious, it was well appointed and in sparkling condition. The bathroom was huge with both a spa bath and a separate shower. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, not the B&B, the apartment was spacious, very clean and well appointed. Decorated in lovely modern design. I loved the access to the courtyard and you didn't feel like you were in the middle of the city. The owner Des was incredibly accommodating and receptionist Yvette was lovely.

Single beds in a small dorm of five beds was good, far better than big dorms app with bunk beds. The location was great, not too far from some good places to eat and drink and not far from the central parts of Christchurch that you can still access.
