Property lifted way above the general run of regional highway motels by an operator who is consummate professional. Room was excellent, location worked for us but it was the owner who stood out with his very warm greeting, eagerness to put us on right path for things to see and do, places to eat etc. and genuine wish for us to enjoy his town. -

The Queen Studio unit was spacious and airy.
The unit was beautifully presented and welcoming. It was good to have a bottle of milk for the frig. The owners were very pleasant and helpful and the spa pool was great. -

Karen was very friendly and accommodated our needs by putting us all downstairs in 3 rooms beside one another. We were travelling with 2 80yr olds.The rooms very very clean and bright and Gisborne turned on a stunner day. -

Location is good, but mostly the standard of cleanliness of the unit was extremely high. Very comfortable and roomy. All in all an excellent Motel which I would recommend to everyone. -

Great old house specially fitted out for a B and B. Huge bedrooms. Love the spa bath. We were lucky and pretty much had the house to ourselves, but if the house was fully booked there is still lots of living rooms for all to have their own space if wanted. Easy walk to the town centre, beach and river. -

We only stayed 1 night so it was a sort of "stopover" on our
trip round North Island, but the apartment was well equipped &
comfortable with some garden furniture in the back "garden".
The outlook wasn't great and it was situated on a busy road but very
easy to find and very convenient.The bathroom was very big & ours
had a spar bath too.

We loved everything (see above). Bed was large and comfortable and room
was new and clean. Location to beach and shops fabulous. Weather was
amazing. Loved having little back yard to sit in. Liked the fact you
didn't have all the usual crap ie shower caps, shoe cleaner, cotton
buds etc. Saves the planet. : )

beach it has it all, I will be going to stay here again -
Location was excellent. Two minute walk to beach. Five minute walk to shop or drive two minutes to a better convenient store.
