My wife and I had the most relaxing and amazing vacation at the Danna. From the minute you check in till check out, the hotel staff are extremely attentive and always approachable. It was my wifes birthday and the entire hotel staff including housekeeping made her day extremely special, from suprising her at breakfast and decorating our room with balloons and cake. great family stay, definitely will stay in this hotel again, the children loved the swimming pool which looks like a real beach, we spend a whole day in the resort and not bored there is lots of activities to do and enjoy the surrounding, great staff :) , arranged mangrove trip with hotel and guide which is a must and really worth the money -

The buffet breakfast is one of the best in comparison to many 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. Very fresh, excellent variety, really amazing all around. The bed is extremely comfortable, the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful. There were a couple of minor instances that I had to raise my concern about, however the Guest Relations Manager (Jana Zahranova) was very courteous, professional and helpful. I can only highly recommend the Westin Langkawi.

Amazing location - it's far away from other hotels (except Datai) in one of the most wonderful seashore I've ever seen, a lot of green around so as you live like in the wild tropical forest with beautiful sea-view.

Everything is great - friendly staff, adequately sized rooms, great for business events, easily accessible from the toll exit. Above average and will definitely come again.
Tips: try asking for rooms on 3rd floor - the same floor as the swimming pool :) -

We really had a great time and I definit - A lovely spot situated by the road but you cannot hear the traffic. It's approx 15 min walk to the beach & resort. The staff were very helpful, especially Wanie, she helped us with everyday queries. We hired a car for 3 days, costing 300 MYR (£60) so that we got to see the island - it has beautiful beaches and the cable car ride is spectacular. The room was large and spacious, with daily complimentary water, tea,coffee. Breakfast was sufficient but sometimes came in cold as it is not prepared on

Quietness, beautiful natural views, sunny sand beaches and many things make me missing this marvelous resort. Stayed at Bayview Hotel for 4 days.. We were greeted when we arrived at the hotel lobby and the staff helped us with the luggage..
My family and I were very happy upon checking in the hotel room.. Room was clean, tidy and neat.. We stayed at the 12th floor facing the sea view and the view was awesome..
As for breakfast, the food served were average.. Not much variety..
There's a bazaar in front of the hotel and you can find cheap souvenirs there..
