I have chosen this hotel by its score and location. And I was delighted.
I have just spent a few good minutes to decide how to start describing
the merits of this hotel. There are many, and all are equally
significant. We got the "Corniglia" room which is just next to
the reception lobby. The room was exceptionally clean and nicely

We reserved our room in Cinque Terre to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Our host recommended a restaurant and made a reservation for us. When we arrived at the restaurant a table right by the sea wall of the Mediterranean sea with candles was reserved for us. It was like a page our of a romance novel.
We had arrived early in the day and our host took our luggage while we went to visit the other villages. When we returned our bags were in our room. This was our most luxurious room

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was our favorite hotel we stayed at
in Italy. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They gave us great
advice for dining, hiking, and transportation. The room was perfect,
with a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful.

We loved that it was up in the hills and how quiet it was - away from all the tourists and energy from the village. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the shuttle was super handy being so far (too far to walk) from the beach. Very secluded with beautiful surroundings. What perfect little spot.

This was our 2nd stay at Hotel Baia and this was during their big holiday on August 15th. We love this place, the view of the ocean was spectacular and the personnel were friendly to us, especially the older lady who is there in the morning. Near ocean....could hear it at night from our room. Nice beach. altho weather wasn't warm enough for us to go swimming.
Very good breakfast included.
Convenient to hike the Cinque Terre trails and walking distance to train station.
Would have liked to have had an extra night there....only had 2 nights.

Sabrina and her mother were very accommodating and friendly and gave
excellent advice regarding hiking and recommendations for restaurants.
We arrived early and they were able to store our luggage and offered us
coffee and a snack. The breakfast was wonderful and huge! It was like

This bed and breakfast was in a quiet and picturesque location with
amazing ocean views and beautifully decorated rooms Our hosts, Fannie
and Sabrina were extremely friendly and accomodating and made delicious
breakfasts each morning and thoughtfully left fruit or snacks in our
room each day. They even prepared an early breakfast for us on our
departure date. We will definitely stay here should we have the
opportunity to visit Monterosso again.

The other reviews are correct in that there are a lot of steps up from
town, however, that would sum up all of Cinque Terre so if steps are not
your thing this is not the place to visit! The owners offer a shuttle
service to and from town for convenience if you are that tired, and they
will pick you up from the train station. This is a very lovely

The breakfasts were delicious and with plenty to choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable and we loved that while we were at breakfast they came in and made our bed, cleaned the room and supplied clean linen.
