We loved everything about Hotel Vapore! The room itself was simple and clean, with a perfect 180 degree view of the lake. We ate dinner at the lakeside hotel restaurant 3 out of 4 nights and the food was delicious. The town Torno is quaint and does not feel touristy like some other areas of the Lake Como region, and easily accessible by ferry and bus. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely room - quiet - beautiful old building and stunning views down over Como and lake from tables outside and restaurant - a pretty garden - excellent restaurant on site with local fare - close to funicular railway for easy journey down into Como if you wish. Lovely walks locally. Highly recommend!

Approx. 10 minutes walk from the train station in a traffic street with pavement at 20 centimeters. The Italian running like crazy.
But when you shut the door to the street, there was a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Almost all employees were women and it always provides a nice atmosphere. The location is central. We slept with the window fully open and no disturbances at night. Would we selected this hotel again? : Probably. We saw no better in Como.

Excellent location, in the center of the old town. The hotel is new, nice, clean and very comfortable. the staff at the reception very helpful and nice, especially Elisabeth who knew that it was my birthday during my stay so she managed to surprise me by putting a beautiful gift on my bed. i simply loved the hotel.

Antonia and Samuel are great hosts. They will do everything to make your stay perfect. Very helpful on how to get around and what to see. Their restaurant serve great food for breakfast and dinner. Our room was very nice and clean and had a lakeview. It was great. The conveniences (ferry, bus) were just outside the door. Antonia and Samuel have a sign at the reception that says something like "you arrive a customer, but you leave as a friend" I would definitely go back without a doubt.
