  Lovely historical Albergo overlooking Lake Como. Antique furniture throughout and lots of period features make you feel like stepping back in time, very romantic! The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful and even let us keep our car in her private garage overnight due to it being fully loaded with holiday luggage and 2 bikes on the roof!   We liked the location of the Hotel and the wonderful scent of jasmine accompanied with birdsong all day; also we enjoyed the ringing of the bells that chimed the time from two local churches. The proprietors, Daniella and Tomasso were friendly and welcoming and spoke good English; they also helped with advice on places to visit around Lake Como. ... cosa dice la gente » The two evening meals we had at the Hotel were delicious and we sat outside under the parasols, enjoying the scent of jasmine and the birdsong.... go - Very cosy place, close to the lake, just 5 minuttes walk down through narrow streets. Breakfast is very nice. Hotel has a live music each weekend in the restaurant. Very professional music, by the way. The host was the most friendly i have ever met. We got a flat tire in our rented car. He changed it himself with his friend for us , without even charging for extra work. Very warm feelings for this hotel.
