The owner Dave is super attentative! Although the airport pick-up didnt turn up after waited for over 40mins, but Dave waited for us to check-in, apologized and reimbursed us the transport fee!
Location of the guest house in term of access to places like bars, shops and so on the very centered. Just that its a bit noisy at night and sounded like people want to break into your room.. we stayed only 1 night before transfer into Lembongan island, so thats fine for us.

The location was fantastic. Only 5 minute walk from Hardys and only 5 minute walk in other direction to Sindhu beach happenings. The breakfast was great and the beachside restaurant setting was gorgeous. The restaurant's dinner menu was great too - I don't eat meat and they had some tasty vegetarian options and staff were delightful. 2 swimming pools! Yes 2. They looked great (I didn't use them) but did see other enjoying them.

The rooms are spacious and have a balinese-style patio.
Bed has a useful mosquito net.
It is not located on the main road of Sanur but it is a plus as the hotel is very quite in the evenings.
Breakfast included with very good banana pancakes or eggs and juice/tea.
Nice swimming pool but almost always in the shadow as there are many trees that cover the sun.
Safe not in the room but in the lobby.

Dewi Dewi is a true delight here in Sanur. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The pool directly outside the room is a real treat after a long hot day. The staff are splendid. Each person we met was helpful and attentive and always with a smile. Dewi, the owner is a lovely woman. Ask her anything and she'll do her best to help you. In common hotel is okey3 star, everything u need is provided. Excellent location to all shops, Hardey's supermarket is few steps away, 3-5 minutes walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay at Swastika Bungalows, from the location to the three rooms we booked. The pools were thoroughly enjoyed by my children and the layout and design was full of Balinese culture which we enjoyed. The daily buffet breakfast was excellent for the budget conscious and walking straight to the shopping strip and restaurants from the hotel was so convenient. We will definitely stay here again!

The villa was spacious and full self-contained which was perfect for us with a small child. The Zen Villas provide a baby pack that includes a cot, highchair and utensils which I highly recommend getting.
