  Beautiful French Basque town, complete with the walled section of old town with stone streets, charm. Be sure to get an afternoon treat at Cort Tarte. Tres bien! Evalina at Hotel Itzalpea is delightful, helpful, and the breakfast was tres Jolie. Next door is an excellent restaurant for delicious hamburger and pomme frites. Nive the entire journey - Itzalpea is in a central location in the beautiful town of St Jean Pied de Port. It's a lovely cosy little B & B, in a cute old building with lovely old antique furniture, pretty furnishings and vases with fresh flowers. Breakfast is wonderful - for eg, natural yogurt in a glass pot, fresh fruit salad, fresh croissants, ham, great coffee - all presented very tastefully. Bedroom & bathroom clean and comfortable.
