  We liked EVERYTHING about Hotel Ramuntcho! The hosts were wonderful and prepared. The location was excellent. And the rooms were spotless (I loved the olive oil based soap and hair/body wash too)! - Great position for starting the Camino Frances. Friendly, helpful staff, very clean and modern facilities in room but nice character in general area... cosa dice la gente » s. Lovely view from our little balcony.

  A perfect getaway. You could imagine a famous author sitting in one of these cottages and being inspired to write his next novel. We stayed here overnight on our way through france, but I could imagine staying here for a week or more. It's absolutely beautiful. Quaint cottages with full kitchen facilities, breathtaking scenery, comfortable, clean ... cosa dice la gente » and wifi to boot. I loved staying here and would definitely recommend it. - Lovely family-run hotel, away from the bustle of nearby (3km)St Jean-Pied-de-Port which is full of shops and of course pilgrim travellers en route to Compostella. It was very peaceful and sitting in the garden for our evening meals which were excellent, with the sound of the nearby river and birdsong was simply lovely. A lovely small village location.
