This hotel is a superb base from which to visit the Loire and many of its chateaux. - The room was large, particularly for France, and very well appointed. The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Unfortunately I only had time to have 1 dinner at the restaurant and it was magnificent - worthy of the visit by itself. The breakfasts were sumptuous too, especially the option of a cooked breakfast rather than the staples of bread, meats and cheese.

The room was spacious and clean. Staffs at the hotel the restaurant were very kind. All the concerns for our small boy (renting the arm tube for swimming and high chair for dinner & breakfast) made our vacation more comfortable. We loved the ambience and the tranquility, this is not a cheap hotel, but it was special. The staff were very attentive, the dinner was fantastic. The food was well prepared and the quality was excellent.

We booked at the last moment in a hurry... we didn't check the reviews or anything we just went for it. Driving there we went up the wrong road and our hearts dropped thinking it was going to be a crummy place based on the lay of the land. Once we got back on track the main road faded away to a long driveway to a perfect chateau experience. Its been really well renovated. Rooms are expansive with beautiful views. This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight.
